We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OTR) with a strong interest or background in behavioral health to join our team. This unique role offers the opportunity to work across the continuum of care, floating between acute inpatient psychiatry and outpatient Behavioral Health programs (Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient), serving patients from adolescents through geriatrics.
In this role, you will play a key part in delivering patient-centered psychiatric occupational therapy services, including conducting comprehensive OT assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and facilitating therapeutic skills groups. You will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to support patient recovery, enhance functional outcomes, and promote engagement in meaningful activities.
The ideal candidate brings confidence working with inpatient psychiatric populations, a passion for group-based interventions, and the ability to adapt across diverse care settings. You will also contribute to creating a therapeutic milieu in inpatient psychiatry and support program integrity in outpatient services through active participation in case management and team collaboration.
This position offers primarily day-shift hours with one weekend per month, providing both variety and balance in a rewarding behavioral health environment.
