Crescendo Café BaristaSweetwater, the nation's #1 online retailer of pro audio gear and musical equipment, is seeking a motivated and friendly, customer-facing part-time barista for the team in our Crescendo Café. Our café plays a significant role in exemplifying Sweetwater's values - providing excellent service, and professional customer service to both internal and external customers. The ideal candidate would bring previous barista experience and a deep desire to prepare top notch drinks, serve pastries, ice cream treats and deliver a fantastic customer experience.This is a PART-TIME position. The schedule is Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 8:00am-1:00pm, Tuesday 2:00pm-7:00pm as well as required weekend flexibility depending on scheduling needs.Job Responsibilities:Provide an excellent customer experience for employees and outside guestsExecute top-notch drinks and ice cream treatsClean, sanitize and organize café workspace throughout the dayAssists the team as needed with stock put-awayRestocks the café, including baked goods, cold beverages, dairy, coffee, disposables, etc.Ensures that daily side work task sheets are completed.Participates in daily special updates and artwork for the communication chalk board.Gain knowledge and have a good understanding of all products being servedParticipates in creation of monthly specials and barista picks.Qualifications:Excellent hospitality skillsStrong team communication and positive demeanorFlexibility with schedulingMultitasking capabilities and a fast paceHigh standards for organization and cleanliness, especially during down timesPrepare and set up for service using established procedures, standards and recipesSweetwater "Ideal" Team-Player:WOWs The Customer - Deep passion and desire for creating amazing customer & colleague experiencesGets Things Done - Great work ethic and moves with a sense of urgencyObsesses over the Details – committed to paying attention to the detailsDrives Continuous Improvement – Always focusing on effective and efficient work and ways to get betterDevelops the Future – committed to the pursuit of growing personally & professionally and has a focus on bringing your colleagues along with you on that journeyWe function best as a unified team, so relocation to our state-of-the-art campus in Fort Wayne, IN is required.
